David Scott, founder and president of Pro Printers, is among the recipients of the Columbia County Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards for 2006. Scott was named Business Person of the Year.

The Business Person of the Year award recognizes an individual employed by a Chamber of Commerce member business for accomplishments including employee training, impact on the local economy, management and employee relations, business achievement, commitment to the community, and product, service or technology innovations.

Last year’s receipient, Jim Galvin of the Columbia Hudson Partnership, presented the award to Scott at the Chamber’s Business Excellence Showcase and Awards Ceremony, held at Stageworks/Hudson on June 15th, 2006. The event was attended by over 100 local business people and recognized all of the nominees and award recipients.
